Accident. November 26, 2010

A series of work relating to a life threatening accident in 2010. The accident involved 4 pelvic breaks and a rupture to the aortic artery, head injury and a 12 year recovery period.

I have developed a number of series. These are groups of artworks based around a theme. A series may have any number of works in it. The grouping's in a Series, belong together.

Chalk Pastel

The majority of chalk pictures are drawn on A1 size paper. They represent a fraction of the material I have produced overall.

I take my inspiration from many sources along with life experience. More recently my work is infused with anthroposophy.

My creative process varies, as a result it often draws on different inspiration which naturally require different methodology.

OrayaArt

I have taught art under the OrayaArt program which believes there is a creative core to explore in every individual, and I believe in helping them unite the spark, to light their creative fire.

"Creativeness is the basis of pleasure. Pleasure only exists where there is the possibility of inner or outer creativity. Happiness is based on creation. Unhappiness is due to the need to create"

(Rudolf Steiner)
